BOWLING FOR SOUP INTERVIEW
We sent our very own head of video Jonah down to the Brighton Centre to interview the FABULOUS Bowling For Soup who were fantastically entertaining but a bit rubbish at bowling.
After being together for 13 years, which is no mean feat in the music business these days, it’s not hard to see why BFS have such a massive fan base.
We have to say, that BFS get’s the SMHTP first prize for best advice ever given to new bands everywhere “Don’t suck” …genius (look and learn kids).
They went on to describe their brand of music as Rock, Punk Comedy. All of which was on display at their sell out gig and with our quiz questions that they so generously entered into the spirit of.
Thanks BFS, here’s to another 13 years and many more albums to come.
FEATURED ARTIST
Muse
The English rock trio Muse consists of guitarist/vocalist Matthew Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme, and drummer Dominic Howard. Bored by the sleepy life provided by their hometown of Teignmouth, Devon, the three friends began playing music together. They started the first incarnation of their band when they were all 13, changing the name of the group from Gothic Plague to Fixed Penalty to Rocket Baby Dolls as time passed. By 1997, the band settled on the name Muse and released their self-titled debut EP on Dangerous Records, followed by the Muscle Museum EP in 1998.
